Deliveries Within the European Union (EU)

  • Final Pricing & Tax Exemption: All prices displayed on our website are final. As Bottega Roma 18 operates under the Italian flat-rate tax scheme (Regime Forfettario), sales are exempt from VAT (IVA) pursuant to Article 1, paragraphs 54–89 of Italian Law no. 190/2014.
  • Shipping Included: Standard insured courier shipping to all EU member countries is fully included in the displayed price. No additional fees will be added at checkout.

International Orders (Non-EU Countries)

  • Custom Shipping & Insurance Quotes: If you are placing an order from outside the European Union (e.g., United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland, Canada, Asia, Australia, etc.), please contact us at maxim@maksimgorshkov.com prior to completing your purchase.
  • Individual Arrangements: We will individually calculate, discuss, and agree upon the safest international courier services, custom transit insurance, and delivery charges suited to your specific destination before finalizing your transaction.

3. Returns, Cancellations & EU Consumer Rights

Ready-Made Original Artworks

Pursuant to EU Consumer Rights Law (Directive 2011/83/EU), customers residing in the European Union who purchase existing, ready-made artworks have the right to cancel their purchase and return the item within 14 calendar days from the date of physical delivery.

  • Condition: The artwork must be returned unused, unaltered, and in its original protective packaging.
  • Return Shipping & Insurance: The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs and must use an insured, trackable courier service.

Custom-Made & Commissioned Artworks (NON-RETURNABLE)

Important Notice Regarding Custom & Bespoke Art:
In accordance with Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and standard return rights do NOT apply to goods created according to the consumer’s individual specifications or clearly personalized.

All custom-made, commissioned, or bespoke artworks produced specifically for the buyer are final sales and are strictly non-refundable and non-returnable.


4. Damaged Goods & Shipping Insurance Protocol

Every artwork shipped by Bottega Roma 18 is professionally packaged and fully insured during transit against loss or damage.

  • Inspection at Delivery: Upon arrival, please carefully inspect the exterior packaging. If visible damage to the outer box is apparent, immediately notify the delivery courier and mark the acceptance receipt as "Received with reservation / Damaged box".
  • Reporting Window: In the rare event that an artwork arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery at maxim@maksimgorshkov.com with clear photos showing:
    1. The damage to the artwork itself.
    2. The damaged outer shipping carton and internal protective packaging.
  • Resolution: Timely reporting within 48 hours allows us to process the transit insurance claim swiftly and arrange an appropriate solution or repair/replacement for you.

5. Copyright & Intellectual Property

  • Retained Rights: All intellectual property rights, moral rights, and copyrights for all original artworks displayed or sold on this platform remain the exclusive property of artist Maxim Gorshkov and Bottega Roma 18, even after the physical sale of the painting.
  • Usage Limits: Purchasing an original physical painting grants the buyer ownership of that single physical artwork for personal display. It does not grant any rights to scan, print, duplicate, reproduce, or commercially distribute images of the artwork. Any commercial reproduction without explicit written authorization from Maxim Gorshkov is strictly prohibited under international copyright laws.
